How young is too young? Popular pre-school TV programme Play School recently aired an episode that showed the presenter tweeting, blogging, texting, emailing and checking his ‘play book’ on a cardboard computer. I certainly don't think there's any harm in this. One critic pointed out that these kids can't even read and write yet. That may be true but they can certainly see what's going on around them. Introducing these sorts of concepts can only broaden their horizons. Wouldn't it be worse if shows like this ignored changes and developments in society. Probably more of a challege here is making sure that when these kids do make it to 'real' school, they're able to continue their development and association with technology … Greg Adams, Editor, INTERFACE
